Privacy

At a glance

  • Your files stay on your device Every tool runs in your browser. Your files are never sent to us or anyone else.
  • No tracking No cookies, no analytics, no ads, no third-party scripts and no accounts.
  • Minimal server logs Like any website, our server keeps short-lived technical logs to stay secure.

What happens to your files

When you add a file to a ToolHero tool, it is opened and processed by your own browser on your own device, using code that was downloaded with the page. The file is not sent to our server or to any other service, so we never see it, store it or have access to it.

Results are created in your browser’s memory and saved through your browser’s normal download. When you close or reload the page, everything you added is gone.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t use cookies.
  • We don’t use analytics, tracking pixels or fingerprinting.
  • We don’t show ads, and we don’t sell or share data with anyone.
  • We don’t load anything from other companies: fonts, scripts and images all come from toolhero.dev.
  • You don’t need an account, so we don’t hold any personal profile about you.

What our server sees

To deliver the website, our server and Cloudflare, the network provider in front of it that protects the site and speeds up delivery, handle your browser’s requests for pages, scripts and other assets, just like any website. They keep standard technical logs of those requests, such as your IP address, the time, the page or file requested and your browser’s user agent.

We use these logs only to keep the service secure and running, for example to spot abuse or fix errors, and we keep them only as long as that requires. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf. The logs never contain your files or anything inside them.

What’s stored on your device

A few display preferences, such as a light or dark theme and whether the sidebar is collapsed, are remembered in your browser’s local storage so the app looks right next time. They never leave your device, and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
